I have three top-level groups, and three sub groups. The “counts” in admin and on the front end display an accurate number of groups (on the admin side, it shows the right number of public and private groups as well). But the subgroups do not show up in the admin menu, and they don’t show up when I click the + sign on the parent group, and they don’t show up when I click on “member groups” even though it says there are (for example) 2 member groups.

You can see the public (sandbox) site here:

Click on “Home” to see the groups page.

  • The counts are also missing for me… would be great to have them ??

The original problem is resolved, and I don’t know if I can blame the plugin, or conflicting plugins, or my own fumble, or what.

I discovered that the plugin was marked (in admin) as deactivated….and yet all the functionality I expected was there, in the front end…so I was able to create groups without a problem. So there must have been some strange conflict with another plugin, or something I did wrong or … something. I also noticed there was an updated version of the plugin available.

I ended up uninstalling the old version, reinstalling the new version, and getting into the database and removing the “ghost” forums.

I did not have a problem with the counts missing…they were displaying, just inaccurately. So @solhuebner, you may wish to open a new thread for your issue; I doubt it’s related to my mess. ??
