Download failed. SSL peer certificate or SSH remote key was not OK

  • Hi, I encountered problems with most of my plugins this morning (e.g. Askimet failed to block any spam comments/trackbacks, publicise fail to work even after refreshing connections, etc.), and after trying to deactivate then reactivate all my plugins, they still failed to work, so I tried to reinstall plugins. Installing any plugins at all give me the following error:

    Downloading install package from https://downloads.www.ads-software.com/plugin/wp-bandcamp.1.1.1.zip…

    Download failed. SSL peer certificate or SSH remote key was not OK

    Any advice? Thanks in advance.

    Just tried my luck reinstalling, and I managed to install plugins now. However, I’m encountering another problem. I’m trying to connect Jetpack to WordPress.com account, but I can’t seem to do so, with the following error:

    Jetpack could not contact WordPress.com: register_http_request_failed. This usually means something is incorrectly configured on your web host.

    SSL peer certificate or SSH remote key was not OK

    Any help would be great, thank you!
