Slider Stops on 2nd Slide

I’m having the same problem as of the same date (as per 5 days ago), it was working fine and think its since running some wordpress updates. I notice that this has been a problem before with issues over 2 years but no fixes – all unresolved posts.
The slider is great and I would love to know a fix as in the past have just moved to a different plugin, however really think this is the best one aroundf and really hope their is a fix or you are working upon an update.
My problem is the same as everyone elses, sticks on slide 2 and wont navigate anywhere even with the arrows etc, won’t advance to slide 3. I have tried a new slide show elsewhere in my site and no new ones don’t work either and have the same problem.
