Submit a comment as an unregistered user is not working

    Hi guys, it seems that my website is having troubles to submit comments from unregistered users.

    Website Post

    After you filled up the form to leave a comment with your name, email, website and comment -> then press the “Post Comment” button and nothing happens.

    I’m not sure why or what or how this is happening. I would really love fixing it because I just recently started using WordPress and its pretty cool and would love to let people to post comments within my posts.

    I don’t have activated the Jetpack comment feature just in case, if someone is wondering that. I’m using the default building one that WordPress has or the theme has I guess.

    The comments are not been held to be review by the web admin

    I hope someone can help or know about this issue. Thanks.

  • Check the Comments admin screen in your WordPress back-end. The comments might be getting held for moderation.

    No, it doesn’t submit anything to even get check by the web admin..

    Any error mesages in your browser’s javascript console? Or any error message in the server logs?

    No ?? I removed the restriction to post a comment when you are only register just if you want to try it and give me some thoughts about it..

    Just tried and changed my theme to another theme twenty fourteen and the comments were working perfect..
    Now, I’m wondering what it could be the problem within my current theme…??

    The problem in my page was a jquery that I’m using to scroll to the top. So, some how it was interfering to someone who wasn’t register to post a comment in my blog.

    So, I recoded ?? lol the easy way of course.. and the problem is fixed.. I was using my old jquery from my main page so, it was conflicting when the submit button was pressed so, the form wasn’t been submitted.

    Now, is working like charm.. ?? thanks to the theme author that look over my page and realize that I have made too many customizations in my page so, he told me to check my jqueries. Which, never came to my mind tho.. lol..

    Anyways, is FIXED now and Ready to go…!!! ??
