twenty13 Banner size and static front page

  • Hello, i did find some info on how to do this with the twenty12 theme, but nothing as yet for 2013.

    I want to create a static page with the banner for my site, and then every other menu item/ page doesn’t have the header image.

    I would also like my header height to be more than it currently is, the width is fine as it goes all the way to the edge of the pages, which I like.

    so any info on this would be amazing.
