What can in include in the "ban hosts" field?

  • Hi, hopefully a quick question others may have experience with:

    Besides IP addresses, can I include other host information in the “ban hosts” field?. I’d like to use a wild card to ban hostnames coming from a particular domain. So something like:

    *.unassigned.userdns.com

    Would that work?

    As an aside, if host names work in “Ban Hosts” do they also work in “Whitelist Users”?
