Autoplay Possible? WordPress 3.9 Playlist

  • Individual media files have the ability to autoplay. Just wondering does anyone know if it’s possible (and the correct code) for auto playing the built in playlist that came with WordPress 3.9?

    I tried

    [playlist ids="377,369,365,292,209" autoplay="on"]

    With no success. Thank you!

  • I just spent an hour trying to find how to add autoplay to a playlist somehow. I kind of got it to work by creating an audio player with no controls in HTML, then setting that to autoplay, but if the user wishes the music to stop they can’t get it to, and if they press a button on the playlist it will play both tracks at once. May as well just put another built-in audio object…
    I would like:
    autoplay=”true”
    random=”true”
    global=”true” <!–even if you leave the page, the music plays still–>

    This coupled with the <br/> bug have pretty much been my day today! LOL (Hey, <br/> works here on the forum, why not on word press? :O

    I also spent an half a day trying to find how to autoplay a playlist. it would be so logical.
