It seems that your Jetpack plugin is causing the issue. Visit your site using FTP or SSH and rename the wp-content/plugins/jetpack plugin to disable it. That should get your site back to where you can log in, and find out what went wrong with Jetpack.

I don’t know what FTP or SSH is. I tried to follow another persons blog and went into my computers folder and deleted the plug in folder – and then went to restore it but it wasn’t in my computer’s trash.

If you can do that, you can use FTP. It’s just a way of managing files over a network. So you’re essentially just using a file manager just like you use on your own computer.

True, but it’s really not too difficult. If you’re managing a web site, having a basic knowledge of FTP is essential in my opinion.

I don’t even know what FTP is. I’ve been trying to connect using FileZilla but it keeps saying “connection times out” “could not connect to server”

FTP = File Transfer Protocol.
