• Anyone any ideas on how to insert say <?php the_author_url() ?> automatically on every post into the content and not just inside the loop?

  • well, thats a bad example since that particular tag cannot be used outside of the loop.

what exactly are you trying to display, if not that?

I’m trying to get the Authors url placed automatically just after the content as part of the content as if they had written it as part of their post.

Sorry! Just read what I wrote, it reads like I’m trying to do something that doesn’t need doing.

I’m using a plugin called sideblog and it only displays the title, content and permalinks. If I can get the autors URL into the content then I can get the sideblog plugin to display the author aswell.

Anyone know how to run php in the content? by default php in the content isn’t run. for example if <?php echo ‘aaa’ ?> is in the content youll see “echo” in the article
