    Hey B,

You’ll need to be slightly more specific. The plugin has a shortcode that allows you to place the adverts anywhere you want provided you have the ability and knowledge to modify the theme files.

If you use a theme that has defined areas that you can add widgets to and one of those areas is in the header then you can use the Ad King Pro widget to output the adverts in that area.

Going by your post on the bbPress topic, you have a bigger issue here in that Ad King Pro does seem to kill the functionality of the forum all together which is a major problem for me and something I am actively looking into now, unfortunately I haven’t found out what the cause is at this stage.

    Ash,

Thanks for the reply, and yes, you are right, I have the bbPress conflict.

To clarify the original request, if you look at that website, which is not mine, but, that’s where I saw the scrolling banner just below the header, which I though was a pretty clever use of limited advertising space … at this website … https://www.rvbusiness.com/ … I wanted to be able to do that same thing.

Yes, I could probably, shakily, get through the theme file edits, if you have the instructions in place for noobs.

But it’s a moot point since I have the bbPress conflict, or I would have it, if I installed Ad King Pro. I will check in from time to time, to see how it’s going on that issue.

I bid you good tidings, ??

    Hi B,

The bbPress conflict was fixed with the last update. If you can update the plugin, you should find you can use AdKingPro and bbPress together now with no issues.

Regarding the website you linked to, that really means nothing apart from the fact that is what you would like to do. It doesn’t help in getting it implemented into your system which is what I would require you to be more specific about.

I mentioned that the plugin provides a shortcode to allow you to insert adverts anywhere you would like. Of course, this does mean that you would need to write the CSS for the ads to work with your theme as this is a case by case scenario since each and every theme is completely different.

There is a how-to in the admin area on what to do to implement the shortcode. Is that enough to get you going?
