For the RSS question, you need to update your permalink structure. Go to WordPress > Settings > Permalinks and save. You don’t have to change anything; just re-save your permalink structure.

For showing the shortdescription: are you referring to the single event template or inside the details pop-up? Is the full description checked as an option for display in the details settings?

Thank you, I have updated the permalink, and the RSS Feeds seem to be working, however still having issues with the events.

Ok so if I add an event, a link goes to my twitter and facebook (eg jahjastarz.com/mc/events/sultry-lounge). when persons click on the link, it went to a 404 page.

Since I updated the permalink, I am now seeing a warning when I click on the link posted on the social media, invalid argument for each () in home/……..include/function/gdlr-blog-item.php on line 121.

Also in relation to the message you asked yes my full description is checked in the output option. I want persons to be able to click on the calendar event to see full details displayed on the other page, than just the event name.

I hope I wasn’t confusing, I stated two problems above the click on the event in the calendar not leading to the full details only the name now(not 404 page anymore) and the click on the social media share giving an error(not 404 page anymore).

Please let me know, and thanks so much for responding.

That error is coming from somewhere else; not from My Calendar, so I can’t really help you with it. You can tell from the file path where it’s being triggered.

For clarity: is it the event page where you can’t see the full description, and want to? If so, you can tweak that template extensively by using the Template Editor for the single event view, and ignore the other settings.

yes, I want to be able to click on the event in the calendar and it takes me to the full details on the event, now when i click on the event in the calendar it shows me short description (which is good) however when I click on the short description/event title it takes me to a page with the event title only.

Also I am not good with codes sorry
