Thanks for your quick response this time. It’s not just the translation issue (that’s the question with the lowest priority). I’m mostly interested in how I can change the name in ‘from’ in the e-mail. The sender is now named WordPress, and I’d like to change that – a very logical option I think.

Can you please add this? Your plugin is so professional, it’s a pitty that this option isn’t included. It makes the e-mails look unprofessional.

It should work entering “from” in the format
shown name <[email protected]>
however this format is not intuitive, probably we’ll improve that field in a future version

I think I entered the e-mailaddress from my client there, not a name without e-mail (@), like ‘Fysiotherapeut’. Can I enter this somewhere?

I mean: I want the client to get an e-mail showing: ‘From: Fysiotherapeut’. He/she should be able to reply to that e-mail, so behind this name, a private e-mailaddress should be entered.

Maybe we can e-mail about this? That’s quicker than using this form, and we can exchange screenshots. You already have my e-mailaddress.

I’m sorry for the late answer. I marked as resolved as I thought the solution for now is entering name and email in the “from” field in the format

shown name <[email protected]>

If this doesn’t work it may depend on the way your hosting is configured for sending emails.

As our contact-forms uses the standard wp_mail() function to send emails, any plugin that replaces or changes the behavior of wp_mail() may be used to set the from name or to use an external SMTP server if the problem is in the hosting settings.
(we have a plugin for that but it’s not ready for a public release; I’m sorry but I don’t have another SMTP plugin to suggest)
