I am using the basic functions of EM on https://ledapathfinders.org
After a few tests I found out that there is a conflict between EM and the necessary plugin “Event Manager Theme Functionality” – the datepicker would not appear and thus make it impossible to add events.

I was able to partly solve the issue – since deactivating “Event Manager Theme Functionality” is not an option, I installed “Use Google Libraries”. The results: the date picker works in the backend, but still not on the frontend: https://ledapathfinders.org/event-submission/

I have deactivated recurrencies, thus the simple version of the event submission template.

Does anyone have an idea why the date picker is not working on the form?

  • Hi John,

I think you’re in the wrong place. This is the support forum for the Events Manager plugin, rather than Event Manager theme.

Yes, my question is about the Events manager plugin. I am using it on my blog, but it seems to be conflicting with the theme – more specifically with a plugin that is required by the theme.

Ok, but if the problem is being caused by the Event Manager Theme Functionality plugin then you’ll need to contact theme for support. It could be the plugin is loading jQuery correctly, for example.
