• I updated my Twenty twelve WordPress site to current update and then I updated all the plugin’s..now I am not able to sign into site..when I hit the log-in tab, which is on the website main page, I guess the following error message

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in /home/content/87/7791487/html/premierluxuryhomebuilders/wp-content/plugins/wp-banner/banner.php on line 552

This is the address to website https://premierluxuryhomebuilders.com/

I would sign in and turn off all the plugins and trouble shoot each one until I find the one causing the problem but am not able to access dashboard.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

    Bryan

Deactivating all plugins (yes, all) to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s). If you can’t get into your admin dashboard, try resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin (read “How to deactivate all plugins when you can’t log in to wp-admin” if you need help). Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems. Also remember to deactivate any plugins in the mu-plugins folder. The easiest way is to rename that folder to mu-plugins-old

Thanks, I tried renaming the plugin’s file in my FTP, as instructed in the “how to deactivate” link and was then able to advance to the login box..added signin and password and now this error message pops up

W3 Total Cache Error: some files appear to be missing or out of place. Please re-install plugin or remove /home/content/87/7791487/html/premierluxuryhomebuilders/wp-content/advanced-cache.php.

If I edit the spelling in FTP file manager for “advanced-cache.php”, I am able to enter the website and work as usual, update plugin’s etc etc. If I edit the file back to its original name I get the same error message when trying to access the dashboard.

W3 Total Cache Error: some files appear to be missing or out of place. Please re-install plugin or remove /home/content/87/7791487/html/premierluxuryhomebuilders/wp-content/advanced-cache.php.

Any ideas how to correct this issue? Do I even need the advanced cache file?

    Thanks

Just rename just the plugin wp-banner to wp-banner-old.

Keep the plugin folder with the correct name.
