Problems with Ban Hosts

  • I’ve hit the same thing with ithemes security plugin’s ban hosts list. Anything with a wildcard, isn’t actually being banned. Same IP’s will show up again – sometimes almost immediately. I’ve been migrating sites away from ithemes security since there seems to be one problem after another after another since the “change” from BWPS. I’m migrating every site to Wordfence and not hitting the issues with it. Have a couple of stragglers that I think you’re motivating me to get on with.

    The problem is solved. I uninstalled bwps and installed another plugin that works as expected.
