PDB – Issue on main/sub-domain & multisite installs
-
Hey,
I have run into a frustrating issue with your great plugin.
My initial setup was a multisite install. That is where I first run into the issue with the PDB plugin – Basically, none of the participant records will show up in the admin list participants page.
I had some issues with a few other plugins due to multi site compatibility so I went ahead and deleted that site and started again – This time I have two separate WP single site installs. One on mydomain.com and the other on the sub-domain demo.mydomain.com. Unfortunately, the exact same issue as with the multisite install is prevalent on both the main domain single wp install and the sub-domain single wp install.
Have a look at this screenshot:
https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/70814425/Participants%20database/Partipcants%20database%20issue.pngAs you can see, the sample database seems to upload fine with 500 new records – However, when I go into list participants page nothing is showing up. The odd thing is that using the [pdb_list] shortcode on a sample page, the list of the participants is outputted fine on the front end (I also checked the my-sql database and the participants all seem to be stored correctly.)
Few things to note:
- There are no errors outputted into the chrome dev console on the list participants page
- I have installed your plugin on a few other sites on my server – All of them are WP single site installs. On those sites, the plugin works without any issues. So I dont think its an issue with my server.
- I tried a few different themes including twentythirteen and the issue remains – So I dont think its theme related
- I installed the plugin in a single WP localhost install and everything works fine
- I am running the latest versions of PDB and WordPress
Any idea what could be causing this?
