3.9/3.9.1 Not able to post or upload any image

There is no such issue in WordPress 3.9.1. The problem is specific to your site. Did you try:

– deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

– switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.

– resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

– re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder and wp-config.php & root .htaccess files – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

for now i stay with 3.8.3

That is a very bad idea. Were you aware that your site will be running a very real risk of being hacked? And a hack is a far more difficult, time consuming and expensive problem to deal with than the relatively minor & probably eminently solvable problem, you had previously.

Dude no, my webhost working perfectly with all versions of wordpress but this last one, there is a serious bug that messed up the database and make the whole wordpress not working properly.

Slso you don’t read my post, already deactivate plugins, used default theme, reupload the whole wordpress structure.
The only fix is downgrade the database, so my conclusion is that wordpress 3.9.x has a bug that make error into database.

Reading this section i noticed that a lot of others people have my same issue, so no, is not an isolated problem i have, is a common issue from the wordpress side.

Developers should locate and fix the issue, after they fix the bug i can upgrade to 3.9.x.

There is no bug! This is specific to your site. For example, I am running about 10 3.9.1 sites and not one of them has this problem. There are millions of 3.9.1 sites running worldwide. Do you see millions of topic complaining about this issue here? No? Well, that’s because it’s a site specific problem.

Yes, I did. You deactivated 3 plugins (was that all of them – who can say?), restored the original theme (what “original theme”?), you didn’t try resetting the plugins folder and you didn’t upload a completely fresh copy of all core files & folders. So I suggest you go back and read my suggestions properly.

There is no magic bullet in these situations. This is just the start of basic troubleshooting.

i am having the same problem. i cant post images. after upgrade to wordpress 3.9.1 i cannot insert images into post. it upload images perfectly but when you click on insert. nothing works

Dude no, is not a problem related to my website since all version of wordpress works except last one.
And moreover is a common issue since there are lot of other people around the web, not only here, that lament the same identical issue i have.

So, please stop talking lies about this matter, because if you haven’t this issue don’t mean that everyone else is the same, and infact this matter exist and is a blatant bug that affect a lot of people, a bug that devs should fix.
If you haven’t nothing better to say, then stop and leave my thread, others people who have my same issue are welcome to post to share impressions and comments.
