generates but doesn't show

  • Ok, so I got it to generate all the different files, awesome!

    The problem is, it still shows the original image.
    – I uploaded this: image.jpg
    – Amongst others it generated this: image-1024×576.jpg & image-1024×[email protected]
    – It shows this: image.jpg

    I want it to show image-1024×576.jpg on normal screens and the @2x on retina. Is there a setting i’m missing? Or do I need an additional plugin?

    I figured it out. The problem lies with featured image and -in my case- Advanced Custom Fields(ACF).

    Im using ACF to create the layout for my website. When I upload an image there I can’t select an image size. Therefor, he always selects the full size image….

    Is there some way in which I can enable the ‘size’ option when uploading through featured images and ACF?
