    Hi there,

I am receiving the following error messages when submitting feed’s to GMC:-

Too many attribute values for attribute: additional image link
(It doesnt seem to like having multiple images per product).

Too many attribute values for attribute: brand
(A few of the products are listed under two brands).

There are a few other errors but those are self explanatory and fixable.

The other thing is i’ve got 144 products in my shop (most of them do have variations); but my XML feed if I create one for “all product categories” creates over 10,000 listings. Is this correct?

I am currently using the 5 day trial and looking to purchase if it does the job I need it to do.

    Cheers!

  • Hi…

Once you add a variation, the product will appear multiple times. So… Socks (Blue/Red) and (Long/Short) will appear four times: 1. Blue Long Socks, 2. Blue Short Socks, 3. Red Long Socks, 4. Red Short Socks. Your 144 products will naturally expand quite a bit if you have a lot of variations.

For the brand attribute and additional image link, it is a little difficult to tell. Can you link me to the feed output? You can open a support ticket on our website if you prefer not to post it on a public forum.

I’ve created XML feeds for each product category, as suggested in a tutorial video to do with PurpleXML’s. One category that I know will be throwing up the errors is here:-

I have an XML feed for all products, It tends to work at first, however every 2-3 days I seem to get a “Parsing error”? See following feed:-

    Cheers

Okay. Regarding the additional_image_link, it’s now capped at 10 images even if your woocommerce setup provides more (and at that, the first 10 it chances across). By now, I mean next version, the beta of which is currently available

Regarding the Parsing Error, Are you getting the error message from Google or from your own side (when you try to view the feed)?

Regarding brand, Google considers this to be an identifier. You shouldn’t provide multiple brands just like you shouldn’t provide multiple SKUs. I suggest you rename the second brand to “affiliate-brand”.
