qtranslate crashes with WP 3.9.1

  • It seems that it is a complete mess with wp 3.9.1. I would like to know (I am asking really kindly) if there is:

    1. Any chance for update of the plugin and when we can expect it?

    2. Is there any workaround or fix?

    3. Should I install again wordpress with previous version? (This depends on question 1)

    Thanks to the developer – the plugin is great! I only need to know in what time we should expect something, because I need to act asap and fix my sites. Thanks !!

  • Good to know that qtranslate latest version (2.5.39) does not work with WP 3.9.1, I won’t re-activate it…
    I will disable WP auto-update from now.

    But I would also like to know when the updated version of qtranslate will be released…

    Maybe someone can tell you what the WP version supreme runs qTranslate?

    QT Version 2.5.39 works well with WP 3.8.1. This is the latest combination I am running.
    I also had to switch back to WP 3.8.1 from 3.9 and I am awaiting an new qt release for WP version 3.9.

    Qian is there any chance to let us know when there will be an update?
    Would some more donations be a good reason for you to spend more time on this project?
    We could initiate a call for D O N A T I O N S , I think it be worth it !!!

    Yes, please can we get an indication of timing on an update or fix or if the plugin is no longer supported or being maintained (would be a pity), so one can find alternatives.
    I have a couple of sites where I can’t upgrade the WP version until this matter is resolved.

    How do I get back to WordPress 3.8.1?

    Download the desired Version here: https://www.ads-software.com/download/release-archive/

    Overwrite all files in the root folder, EXCEPT YOUR ‘wp-config.php and the directories ‘w-includes’ and ‘wp-admin’.
