category color not showing on month view

I’m thinking to rename the categories to get them on one line,

more importantly i can only get the colors on the list view not month view.

in may there is one event, should be purple, in list mode it is purple, or if you look at june there are several events.

in week view it shows the colour but in month view its all the default colour

Are you using template overrides for your views? They look nothing like the standard supplied code.

not that i know of, but the theme has the events calendar built in as default. I purchased the pro version for additional functionality and installed your plugin as well.

The only thing I can suggest is to ask your theme designer to add category class tags in their templates.

You can switch to a default theme like TwentyTwelve for a test and you should see that colors are present. Sorry, not much I can do with so much customization.

out of curiousity wouldnt there be class tags already if the colors work in week view?

Are the colors you’re referring to just in the legend? Because I don’t see colors in any views other than the legend.

in week view there are colors that match the legend. if you go to week view and go to the next week you’ll see one event in purple and if you keep changing weeks you’ll see other events in different colors.

I’m using my iPad right now so I’m not seeing anything but the responsive views. BTW, responsive views will show color with next round of updates. I’ll have to look at this from another computer later. I’ll post back later.

All right, there are 2 separate problems.

First, in month view, you have at least 2 lines in your harrowgames/css/custom.css.php that give a background color to the following selector

.events-archive.events-gridview #tribe-events-content table .vevent

these are on lines 541 and 6725 or thereabouts. Comment them out and you’ll have colors. This will likely be changed back if this theme updates.

The list view is a different issue as your theme must have a template override here and the category class tags are not present.
