    Hi Peter,

Thanks for using the plugin. I will add the user avatars next to the most liked users on the next version of the plugin.

When you say you hacked the plugin, you mean you had to actually modify it in order to work, or just tweaked for your purposes?

    Thank you,
    Jordi

    Hi JordiPlana

I probably tweaked it more then hacked, it functioned straight out of the box.

mainly the position of the like buttons, and the accompanying CSS

You can only see the likes when logged in, if have made a post with an image of the likes here : BBPress Like Button Plugin.

I have taken the plugin and hardcoded it into my templates, although I am reverting this soon so it is able to update when needed.

Thanks again for this lightweight, working plugin.

Unfortunately I had to make the “like this post” text part of the image cause I could not get text there through CSS/HTML.

I do not know how to explain this very well due to being a noob with php/JS etc., but there were conflicting elements at work so an image was my only solution.

The “This post has 2 likes” is not an image and this part was easy to add my own text and include your snippet of code to funtion as a counter.

Again, I am not sure on how to explain this but it would be great if we could adjust text that shows next to thumbs-up in the admin area?

    Anyway, cheers

btw. as soon as the website goes live I will add credits to all plugin developers I have used to make this forum work, with links to site and wordpress plugin page.

Have to show respect to those who made the job easier for me.

    Peace
    P.H.

    Hi Peter,

Thanks for the reply, it’s awesome to get some useful feedback. I will work on making the labels configurable through the plugin options and add it in the next version.

    Thanks again ??

    Jordi
