• Hello everyone,

I’ve already posted on the forum for assistance but the post was fairly specific.

I currently manage the website for a recruitment company. We are currently using the posting ability for job adverts but now want to set up a blog for informative articles in addition.

I am trying to figure out a way to do this by keeping the jobs and the article posts separate but am having trouble doing so. I have been told to use categories but am having a few issues.

The problem I am having is that the dynamic page is used to post jobs and is under a menu of current opportunities. The job board uses a number of categories that break the roles down into role type and division within the company. I have posted a blog article under a new category called “blog” and clicked the current opportunities tab and it shows both the job posts and the test blog article on the list. Is there a way to set up the website so that these two areas are separate?

I was wondering if cutting down the categories down to “jobs” and “blog” and then having links from the menu to these two categories separately would resolve this issue? And then using tags to sort the job posts into more specific sections?

Does anyone else have experience setting this type of website up?
