Weird bug on a daily automated newsletter.

Not every day, but every second or third day, every link in my newsletter goes to the same page.

Some days the page is a post included in that day’s automatic content; some days not.

At all times the preview works properly; the test emails work properly; the display page for those who are having trouble seeing the email works properly (though not the link to that page from the email – it also goes, like all other hyperlinks, to the same incorrect link).

I’ve glanced through the PHP but have not been able to debug.

    Heck,

I’ve tried that, over the past few weeks. Best (only) answer I got (beyond updating my versions of MailPoet and WordPress) was that there may be an issue on my server, and to contact my ISP.

It’s my server. Strikes me as an unlikely location for the error.

I have a number of other newsletters that never have this problem.

Thought someone reading this forum might have something helpful to say.

This might have been marked as resolved because of my poorly worded “It’s my server.” What I meant to say is that I control my server – it’s on our intranet.

This is definitely not resolved. Newsletter went out Friday with the problem – every link on the page went to the same link.

    Big problem.

Hello again! A lot of issues can be related to servers. In fact, servers and host are more often than not related to issues we deal with everyday, with plugin conflicts.

Our 100,000 users have a wide range of hosts, with a combination of different setups, ranging from server, ftp setup, htaccess, permissions, and more. Mix in the SMTP configuration, and you have an error ridden path ahead.

We noted this forum topic as “resolved” simply because we’d like to avoid duplicates with our email support. A few user cross posts, which results in slower response times. It’s not your case, but I wanted to explain.

I’d be more than happy to take a look at your ticket by email, to see what was done. Simply reply to our last email we sent you, and ask for Kim.

    Closing…

    Closing again!
