Relevanssi should work out of the box with TwentyFourteen –?in fact, my test site is currently running TwentyFourteen with Relevanssi. There should be no need for any modifications to templates to get Relevanssi working.

I’m not sure, but I’m guessing it’s because your site is in two languages. At least that’s something unusual about your site. What are you using for the multilingual features?

Ok, might be that then… If you disable the WPML/Polylang compatibility option in Relevanssi settings, does that get you results?
