slider images cutting off / jumping around

slider images appear to be jumping around when page is loaded. The image is also cutoff from the top.

Slider images are 1200 x 500 however I have also tried the first slide as 1170 x 500 and this has the same issues. also does the same when another slider is set.

Have tried in IE and Chrome, both have the same problem.

Tried disabling featured pages plugin / font customizer plugins and still have the same problem. am currently on version 3.1.114 of the customizr theme.

Tried removing customisationz and also applying the default customizr theme with no customisations.

Can someone have a look and see if the same problem happens for you.
