• I was looking over my blog when I saw that every page there’s an option to write a comment. Is there and option to only allow for some pages. Not every page on my blog did I want users writing comments on them.

  • To disable comments on future Pages & Posts, uncheck “Allow people to post comments on new articles” in Settings -> Discussion. Then edit each published Page or Post and uncheck “Allow comments” in each case. If you do not see this pane, click Screen Options at the very top of the page and check “Discussion”.

You can then re-enable comments on a per Page & per-Post basis.

Thank you. How ever that doesn’t seem to work. In these pages I have all the comments checks boxes unchecked. and I still get the comment section at the end of each page.

I looked in the Screen options and the Comment is unchecked and the Discussion is all unchecked. So I’m a little lost here on why this doesn’t work the way it should work.
