Exclude bots in server mode

I think the topic title is self-explanatory.
How can I exclude bots (*googlebot.com, *google.com, *msn.com etc) when using server and not Javascript mode?
I tried to put the above wildcards under ‘Referring sites’ but it does not seem to work.
