Enabling featured content leads to google rich snippet error

  • I have updated twenty fourteen theme to version 1.1 and I am getting error in google’s rich snippet structured data.
    Following is error,
    Error: Missing required field “updated”.
    Error: Missing required hCard “author”.

  • Had you made any changes to the TwentyFourteen code before the upgrade? Are you using a plugin to add the rich snippets attributes? Please post a link to your site so we can see.

    I have the same problem. I found
    this article
    but didn’t check it yet.
    Would be nice if they incorporate it in wordpress.
