I Would like to add a left side bar or simply a banner on the left space..

Hello, i’m looking for how to add a banner (120×600) or a left side bar or a table on the left side of this theme…

my web if you want to have a look is
As You can see I have a lot of space on the left and I would like to use that space for a banner..so I suppose there are different ways…may be a floating image(i know in html but don’t know where to put it),,table or better a second sidebar(left side bar)…

((I could change the date in European format like day/month/year but I can’t add what I have already asked…))
