  • Jamon,
Ya I know its a bummer. I use that plugin every week for order fulfillment database. Unfortunately with the new Jigoshop improvements, the plugin does not work. Jigoshop is aware and informed me they will be redeveloping the plugin. I am unaware of a timeline.

My work around suggested by Jigoshop, download the 1.8.6 version. Override your version, export the data you need, then re-update to the correct version.
I was informed that there would be no database damage as there are not database changes between the versions.
    Hope this helps

@elitistdogg Thank you for the info. That is crazy. I hope Jigoshop chimes in with the timeline for the redevelopment.

While I can’t expect Jigoshop to maintain compatibility with 3rd party plugins. CSV Order and Client Export is an official plugin developed by them!

Suffice to say I’m incredibly disappointed in Jigoshop.

    Jamon,
To my understanding, it is a 3rd party developed by a guy named Illari.

I would not be disappointed with jigoshop as they are redeveloping it. The reason it happened was due to upgrades they are making to the plugin so we all get a better plugin performance and functionality.

I have been emailing them about multiple times a week with bugs or somethings that I noticed. They have been VERY responsive and are really working hard.

The company was sold and the new guys coming on board to develop it have been great. Through this process there will be ups and downs like we are currently experiencing.

If you are in need of a different temporary fix until the new plugin is developed, I would suggest emailing them at [email protected] to get a quote.

@elitistdogg Jigoshops recently redesigned website makes no indication that that’s the case. Just look at the plugin page (https://www.jigoshop.com/product/csv-order-and-client-export/). It looks very much like it’s being sold as an official plugin made and designed by Jigoshop.

Many companies use 3rd party developers to do work. However, it’s the responsibility of the company I purchased the plugin from to support it not the 3rd party developer. In the same way that getting a defective toy from Target is the fault of Target not the 3rd party manufacturer they used that may have been the original issue. Customers should and do rightfully blame the company they purchased the product from.

Good luck to Jigoshop but as of late they’ve been causing a great number of problems for me. Product stability should be number one not ten for e-commerce software. New features can wait if it means screwing over your existing customers.
