I am not familiar with this plugin…Tooltip is working with many plugin unless they are not using proper HTML or contain JS error. Please check the html using some external HTML validator and also check if you have any JS error in your browser console (right click, Inspect Element and look in the browser console for errors). Any of the above can be the reason for the problem

I’m surprised you aren’t familiar with Visual Composer – https://vc.wpbakery.com/. It’s a drag and drop editor that comes bundled with nearly every new theme these days.

I’m not sure what to look for with validator/js error so I’ll just give this plugin a miss.

FYI – I am using The X theme by themeco which has over 15,000 downloads on themeforest.

Hi just an update. I notice the tooltip actually works on some pages using the visual composer, but not others. I’m not sure what exactly it is about those pages yet – but seems there’s a conflict with one of the Visual composer shortcodes used on those pages. I’ll see if I can isolate the issue.

Hi – I worked out that there’s a conflict with the Social Sharing buttons shortcode used by The X Theme. Once I removed this from those pages, the glossary tooltips appeared.
