  • You’ll need to access your files to rename theme folder to deactivate it. You need to go inside wp-content, then inside themes folder. There you will see folder called “exclusive”. Rename it to anything you want. This will deactivate broken theme, giving you access to dashboard.

Make sure to go to Themes and activate good theme.

OMG!! Thank you thank you thank you thank you!!!
    I got it fixed!
Best part of this is… I got to fix this on my own (well, with your help) but I didn’t have to ask my genius son to do it!
    Thanks again!

    Glad I could help.

I tried to point my wordpress site to my main website address and now I cnnot access my dashboard at all. And worse than that my web site is down! Is there any way back here? I have tried using another SqL database with my host but I keep getting the message ‘Error establishing a database connection’ and cannot change it even with a new index.htm page.
    My web site is https://www.vitorihealth.com
    Thanks

    Hi Dave,
You should create your own thread according to the forum rules, mods might not like you tagging along to a resolved issue.

You have a mess there I see, try going back to your original database and following these instructions on setting site URLs.
