  • Hey, no worries, I’m sure together we’ll make it work, but in order to do so, we are going to need a bit more information on what’s going on — any chance you could send us the link to the blog in question, so we could have a closer look?

We really need to know with which site we are dealing with in order to help you out. Let us know!

Take care & have a nice day!

Hey, I just found that this plugin could help you out to choose the correct thumbnail for your Facebook posts: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/facebook-thumb-fixer/

Have you tried it out yet? Does it help? In any case — do send us your blogs URL, so we could check it out ourselves and see if we can help you out from our side, but do let us know if that plugin helps as well. We’re curious how it performs.

In any case — I’m looking forward to your reply!

    Best,
    Silvo

    The site is: https://www.bionicbites.com/

    Thanks!

Hey, thanks for the URL, we appreciate it since it sure helps us a lot when trying to analyze what’s going on with your FB thumbnails in the first place!

We tested it out with several of your blog posts, but as it seems, those thumbnails are picked up totally randomly, by no particular order at all — sometimes Facebook picks up your correct images (from the blog post), sometimes from our related posts, and sometimes even from outside of the body of your blog post (first example below — or this screenshot here).

Facebook picks up totally different thumbnails for this blog post: https://www.bionicbites.com/2014/04/better-korean-noods-nj/

But then again, everything seems perfect for this post: https://www.bionicbites.com/2014/03/healthy-eats-at-hummus-place-nyc/

Since we believe that this has got more to do with Facebook than with us, I’d strongly encourage you to use that plugin I suggested to you in my first reply, since it will give you total control over which thumbnail Facebook will use for your blog posts. Here’s the link: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/facebook-thumb-fixer/

Let me know if this works out for you or if you have any more questions what-so-ever, since I’ll gladly help! Looking forward to your reply!

Take care & have a nice day!

    Best,
    Silvo
