How to change the left widget area color?

    Hello all,

    Can someone indicate me which CSS property is to be modified in order to change the left widget area color (I woud like to change the black you see at https://benvenutoinitalia.net/ into green).
    My attemps were not succesful indeed…

    For information, I use:
    – WordPress 3.9.1
    – a Twenty Fourteen child theme.

  • Install the Fourteen Colors plugin. Then you can easily change the color.

    Add this to the end of your child theme style.css file:

    #secondary {
   background-color: green;
}

    Ohhh, what an brilliant idea! I’ve never thought there was plugins for themes as well ??

    @ghazal, you need to start a new thread. And I’m not sure what you mean by “Page up and down” and how to “theam” on your domain.
