how to store value as uppercase text in db and display in email?

I’ve used css text-transform: uppercase to display a text in uppercase in a textbox on my form, but when submitting, in the plugin contact form db, it still saves in lowercase. Is there a way to store the text in uppercase as well there, and also display it in uppercase in the email being sent (this one as well is in lowercase despite having the css displayed as uppercase on the form).
