Change abel font in menu

Hi, I’m tryin’ to use this theme…but I’d like to know if there’s a way to change the abel font in menu.

I’d like to use something different, but I’ve tried to change this lines:

nav#mainmenu ul li a   {

	font-family:'Abel',Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;
}

or

nav#mainmenu ul ul li a{ 

	font-family:'Abel',Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif;
}

but nothing happens ??

Can you help me? I’ve seen that on themeinprogress.com you are using Open Sans, but I can’t figure out if this is possible with the lite version of alhena.
