• If I have content that I want to publish to two blogs simultaneously, can I use the standard admin interface for blog #1 and then literally update the tables of blog #2 with the same information/changes?

This will, in effect, post an indentical entry in two locations.

I am poking around in the API and it looks like this is possible. If the process is fully-tested, that is.

Naturally, this is not for splogging reasons, but just a general question about how the database API works.

In case anyone cares, I have searched the forums exhaustively (and even look on MU). I see that I am not the first to ask this question, but I can’t seem to find an answer in any of the other threads.

Hope nobody thinks my post is redundant…

Okay, after poking around the API, I think this is possible.

Are there any pitfalls that I should watch out for when inserting records directly into the database?

After a week with no replies, should I just give up and assume this isn’t possible?

    Thanks.

I use BlogDesk myself to post to multiple blogs.

BlogDesk???? I’m checking that out now.

    Any other ideas?
