• Hi guys. I’ve got my WordPress up and running and so far everything is running smoothly. However, for a few pages I need the blog feature to be enabled exactly like the front page. So it saves me editing the same page over and over, I also need people to comment. Is this possible, and if so, how?

    Thank you.

  • hey,

I used the redirectify plugin, which allows you to put a code on the empty page which forwards you to the page with your blog or a specific categorie etc.

when you write a post or page you can have the tab on the left “discussion” then click “allow comments” ,if your comments settings are turned off go to “options” and then “discussions”

the redirectify plugin is found on : https://redalt.com/Resources/Plugins/Redirectify/

    i hope this helps you..

I think i might have typed my initial post wrong, I meant to say I need a new blog on each page rather then the homepage blog on the new pages. Thanks for your reply though.

Your question is still not clear for me.
What are those “pages” you keep mentioning? Pages created in Write > Write Page? Files outside of WP? Or…?

You can’t really “reproduce” the behaviour of your blog’s index (main/home) page on other “pages” because some functions will look for the index.php file.

you can show a specific category on a different page..
