Can't Preview Future Events

    I searched the forum but did not see anything about this topic. I apologize in advance if this has been covered and look forward to any direction or feedback that anyone has to offer.

    We are using the recurring events tool in the events manager plug-in. When we create a recurring event and set the the publish date to a future date, we are unable to preview the event. If we Publish the event so that we can preview the event, the event stays on the website and will not disappear, even if we change the publish date. Is there any way to preview events with future publish dates?

    hi,

    when you say preview, is this under Events > Recurring Events ? or preview in the frontend ?

    there does not seem to be a Preview mechanism for viewing recurring events before they are published to the site, even though there is one for Events. The goal is to be able to preview an event before its published just so we can check that it all looks okay before putting on the front end of the site.

    So, as an alternative we published the recurring event, and then instead of changing it back to Draft status, the publish date was changed to a future date, so it would not show up on the site. As a result, and even though the event was pushed to a future date, it remained on the calendar listing view.

    The main issue is that we are wondering if a Preview option will be added to the recurring events tool?
