Multisite with subfolders

  • Hi,
    I am using a multisite with subfolders
    ie example.com/site1
    The intention is to get search-engines to see the multisite as one big site rather then all seperate sites, but how do i do this?

    And if i use domain mapping for the subsites will this affect the question above?

    But how do i check if this is the case?

    Don’t do anything ?? Search Engines ALWAYS see your network as one big site. Mapping domains or not, it knows it’s a network. If you cross link between sites on the network, it’ll be seen as the network and SEO ranked accordingly.

    This also means you don’t get link-juice doing that, which is good IMO.
