After last update whole site dont work

My site is also down after an update. I receive the same error mentioned above.

/www/wp-content/plugins and delete or rename tweet-old-post

rename to what?

Update also took my whole site down. Wouldn’t recommend it.

@codeinwp: Sorry but asking for FTP access is not allowed here. Accessing a user’s system like this makes you responsible for that user’s system. If you make changes and something breaks later on as a result, then it is your fault.

Get information, ask for log data, have the user contact you & seek copies of the PHP files. Look but don’t touch. If your code is the problem, then produce a fix and post it here. If the theme or another plugin is at fault, then inform the user, suggest a fix, offer to contact the other developer and/or update your FAQ.

But do not try to make changes to the user’s files in this way. That’s really going too far outside of your area of responsibility.

Probably you didn’t get my point here. I just said that if there are people who just updated the plugin, broke their site and they don’t know how to fix it, I am willing to help.

As we both now, once the website is broken, an update can’t fix it, the only fix is by using the ftp, of course I can explain how to do it, and people already here were helpful, but I said in case that somebody is not really able to do that ftp fix and want some help.

Anyway thanks a lot of clarifications!

@patwist thanks -I learned how to do something new on this one & feel like it is something I will be able to use in the future as well. I appreciate the offer @codeinwp, but am glad I learned to do it myself!
