  • Generally speaking this is a function of a theme or a theme with a skin.

    What theme are you currently using on your site?

    You could use something like: this, but it is really meant for a sidebar.

    You will need to edit some template files from your theme to achieve that, or you can find another theme that already have featured images functionality integrated and then, you will need to just change a bit the HTML structure and CSS.
