Contributor has access to products

You might look into using the Members plugin (https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/members/) for more granular permission management for custom post types, including WP eCommerce products.

That said, I think we should probably be limiting the “Duplicate” link to users who can add/edit products.

Hi Justin, Thanks for the plugin but it still doesn’t seem to work.
I installed the plugin and then on each product selected that a contributor has limit access to this post’s content. But still if you logon as a contributor you can duplicate or add a product. This is weird. Still not working.

It looks like the following plugin did it for me:
Role Scoper

Sorry,but “Role Scoper” did not do it either. It helped to remove the products access but also prevent the contributor to view posts in his admin panel.

I am also hoping to find an answer to this question. The Members plugin doesn’t help.

I eventually changed the plugin to: “Checkout” by Tribulant Software.
