Favicon in Internet Explorer

    Hello,

    I uploaded a favicon at the 16 x 16 dimensions and it works great on google chrome. However, it does not work when running internet explorer. Is this a known problem or is there something I’m doing wrong?

    Currently I’ve tried the photo in PNG and JPEG.

  • Which version of IE? Most every version of IE has pretty bad bugs but some are worse then others. My guess would be to try an .ico file. Or it may just be that you need to make sure the cache has been cleared.

    I took another look at this. I changed to an ico file. Same issue in IE but with google chrome and safari it works. It might be specific settings on my computer.

    And I’m using IE 10.
