Bootstrap Slider ONLY homepage

This is my first time using wordpress so I’m very new to it. As I am new please forgive me if my question is easily answered. I have tried everything my limited knowledge has come up with to do so but I’ve come up with nothing so far.

My question is; Is there any way to make the bootstrap slider your home page? I want to do this without having an actual ‘home’ page. With my image of the site I’m building I want the bootstrap slider to be the main focus of key parts of my website. Also and I mean no offense the slider is a little too overpowering to have a website displayed below it.
