Changes taking place very slowly

  • Recently, I restored a backup on one of my my tech sites.

    1. I removed everything and installed a fresh copy of WordPress through the Quickinstall feature from my hosting provider.

    2. Then I restored everything. But, soon I realized that the changes such as header modifications, theme colors, etc were taking place very slow.

    I tried disabling the cache plugins and also cleared the browser cache before reloading, and also repeated step 1 above, but to no avail. I am really confused what would have caused this!

    I tried disabling the cache plugins

    Some caching plugins require you to first clear the cache through a setting in the dashboard before deactivating them.

    Thanks for a quick reply Andrew. I did that but it doesn’t help. This seems weird because there were no such problems in my previous installation!
