    Thanks for taking the time to post this. I hope other users will find this useful.

    I have discovered that after adding your function which gives the “important” attribute to all EG Fonts, Fount breaks!

    With that function installed, Fount reports “Default/No Font” when an EGF font is clicked. I’ll try and reach the developer of Fount and see what he says.
