I tested out the WP Super Cache plugin a while back. I uninstalled it and deleted the plugin folder, but I’m still getting a WP Super Cache error showing up in my HTML code when I view source.

    The error says:
<!– WP Super Cache is installed but broken. The constant WPCACHEHOME must be set in the file wp-config.php and point at the WP Super Cache plugin directory. –>

It comes right after the closing </html> tag.

I’d like to get rid of this and to be sure the plugin is really gone.

I’ve tried reinstalling/uninstalling, but the error persists.

  • Hi there!

It sounds like you may have some settings still lingering. Could you try following the steps here to completely uninstall WP Super Cache? Then, see if the issue persists.

Please let me know if that does the trick!

The problem seems to have been the WP Super Cache additions to my wp-config.php

    Thanks for the help!

You’re welcome! I’m glad to hear that the issue has been resolved ??
