Share buttons placement on homepage not working

Hi Barry,
I have the same problem as TheSupercargo (https://tinyurl.com/lppxqzv), except that whatever I choose, buttons only show on top.
Using 1.7.1 so I don’t understand ?? Would very much appreciate some help!
